Programs

Today, earning a college degree is more important than ever. But a recent report finds that of every 100 students who enter 9th grade in the District of Columbia, only 43 graduate from high school within five years, only 29 enroll in postsecondary education programs within 18 months and only nine attain a postsecondary degree within five years — a situation that is even worse for students in certain sections of the city.

The DC College Success Foundation provides a variety of programs to increase achievement and improve college enrollment rates for District of Columbia students. These programs include:

• HERO Initiative
• HOMETOWN Mentor Program
